Need a Friend?
Lucky Ducks Continue to Work Their Magic
Ah California, so lovely this time of year, especially at the beach on a sunny summer morning. But, it can be lonely, with friends and relatives traveling on vacations and work. What's a person to do? Well, for one thing, take your Lucky Duck for a walk. The Lucky Duck is always there to share your day. And sometimes (actually, quite often) the LD (as they are known to their friends) can work some real magic.
Suddenly, without warning, Beaker was magically whisked away from her drab every day existence and dropped on the beach right next to Beverly!
"Thank goodness the sand was soft," exclaimed Beaker, "it broke my fall. And what a great place to reappear!! I can't explain how I got here, but I'm not going to complain." Beverly certainly didn't complain either. But Beaker does plan to devote the remainder of her scientific career to understanding and harnessing the power of the Lucky Ducks.
Aubie and Pretzel Boy Carry the Ducks Into Competition
Ducks Aid in World Footbag Championships
Aubie and Pretzel Boy traveled across the United States and Canada in their quest to compete in the World Footbag Championships in Montreal, Canada last month. Their journeys took them to Dallas, on to Denver, where they competed in the preliminaries and ultimately to Montreal. But they would NEVER consider competing without their Lucky Ducks right in the competition with them. Fortunately, they had the NEW Lucky Duck Pins created by Beaker in her continuing quest to harness the Luck of the Duck.
The Ducks continued to do their job! Aubie finished 29th IN THE WORLD in the "Consecutives" competition and won his early netbag match. He assured the reporters from Sports Illustrated, The Learning Channel and The Society Gazette that he never performed better!
Pretzel Boy likewise gave full credit to the ducks. "Who knew such a little duck could pack such a punch. Competitors who were not members of the Society of the Bewildered just didn't stand a chance'"

Bewildered Site of the Unspecified Time Period
In honor of Skyhawk and Lara's upcoming wedding, this "unspecified time period" we are featuring a look at the wonderful world of Brides and Grooms. It is very unlikely that Sky and Lara can possibly live up to the standards set by the Brides and Grooms on this site, however. Goodness knows the Princess and I are happy about that!
Even in marriage, the solution to all problems can be found on the internet.

THE PURPOSE of the Society of the Bewildered:
"We're
Bewildered, we have
a purpose, but we can't remember what it was. Since we can't find it,
we've substituted 'DUCK DANCING' and the never ending Search for the
Perfect Margarita."
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
"The only requirements are 1.) having
children
(or once knowing someone who had children) and b.) willingness to admit
to being a member. It hasn't really been established that men can
actually be members. Men, it seems, refuse to admit to being bewildered. However, in defiance of all logic, they are quick to admit being members of the BEWILDERED SOCIETY.With these requirements the list of
non-members grows daily."
